Oracle Developer

The ideal candidate will need to the have ability to analyze, design, program, support and implement information systems. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Must have a high initiative, self-starter, ability to organize, prioritize, follow-up and ensure execution of multiple projects. Results oriented. Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL and expertise in SQL.

Mandatory Experience: Understanding of Oracle database concepts and techniques beyond those necessary for application programming: Oracle 10g PL/SQL programming and SQL Skills. The Oracle developer contractor must have excellent communication skills, n-tiered client application architecture, able to work independently, and take ownership of tasks.

- Database design and implementation
- Design and Create Indexes
- Write and Tune SQL queries
- Write PL/SQL Load Procedures
- Stored Procedures

Job Description: Build business logic for a new financial allocation application. We are currently designing a new system that will allocate spending at a much lower customer and product level for financial reporting. Much of the work will be designing the logic in Oracle PL/SQL and potentially some Business Objects Universe design for reporting. The developer in this position should be able to work with different tools and technologies, be able to provide solutions and recommendations, maintain a customer-oriented focus, and handle tasks independently.

This person would be working full time at about 40 hours a week, depending on project timelines.

Nice to have: SAP BusinessObjects Universe Designer, Webi report design skills
